Magenta Theater
Creating Community, One Stage at a Time

Magenta Theater is a non-profit community theater located in the heart of the downtown arts district of Vancouver, Washington. We are committed to bringing quality performances to the stage including comedies, mysteries, dramas, and musicals.

In addition to our main stage season, Magenta also encourages creativity through its improv team (MIT), staged readings (Black Chair Projects), and inspires young minds with our shows performed for young audiences (MagenTOTS). Magenta promotes education through acting classes and internships. We also open our stage to host a variety of local performers.

Magenta Theater is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, recognized by the IRS, and dedicated to giving back to our community through service projects and community involvement. You pay no fee to be a part of Magenta Theater!

Volunteers play a huge part in Magenta’s success. Besides the obvious need for actors, an extensive behind-the-scenes crew is required for each show. Opportunities are available in the following areas: assistant director, stage management, stagehands, lights and sound technicians, makeup, costumes, props, set design, set construction, house management, ushering, concessions, publicity and clean-up crew. Click here to learn more about volunteering at Magenta.
