Magenta Theater produces:
5 Mainstage Productions each year: 4 plays and 1 musical
3 Black Chair Project Staged Readings
MagenTots Performances for Young Audiences
Comedy, Cabarets, and other Special Events
Magenta's programming is approved by the Board of Direction on the recommendation of the Artistic Selection Committee.
The Artistic Selection Committee will meet for a series of four meetings to develop a recommendation for the 2027 Mainstage Season as well as the 2026 and 2027 Black Chair Project seasons. Proposals already submitted in 2025 will be considered for both the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Submissions accepted immediately and on a rolling basis, with priority review for proposals received before March 11th, 2026.
