Wayne Simmons

Wayne hails from the Midwest and has not looked back since relocating to beautiful Washington in  2011 with his husband Al.  Wayne had a long, successful career in the financial services and insurance industry before retiring in 2017.   He has been part of the Magenta community since 2018 and has volunteered for many areas at Magenta, but really enjoys set construction and lighting design.  Wayne’s husband, Al is  a member of the Portland Gay Men’s Chorus and is also a Magenta volunteer.  In their spare time, Wayne and Al enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family and hanging with their exuberant, always entertaining dog, Dusty.
