Description:

Miriam is unmarried and living with her 13 year old daughter, Amanda.  She waits tables to pay the bills but her paintings are what really matter. So far she has been unlucky in love--mainly because of the precocious Amanda and her wily partner, Randolf--a snarky imaginary friend with an eye for fashion, who succeed in driving away suitor after suitor. When Miriam brings home a rather unimpressive mailman, Amanda and Randolf prepare for war.  Is it possible that they have met their match?
