Creating Community
One Stage at a Time

What Magenta Theater Academy Has To Offer

Magenta Theater Academy provides classes for youth and adults that reside in the Vancouver and Portland area communities. We strongly believe in the power of this collaborative art form to build discipline, engage teamwork, develop confidence, and foster both creative and critical thinking skills.

To allow Magenta instructors to keep their focus on the process and development of students, classes are always kept small to allow one on one instruction.  Students gain solid training and develop true and applicable skills that can be used on the stage and in the world around them.

Magenta Theater Academy also utilizes guest speakers and instructors to enrich the curriculum and provide students with a variety of resources for theater knowledge, technique and theory.

We value our reputation for quality and integrity that skilled, experienced instructors support. Education plus credentials provide students with the best experience possible.

Magenta Academy Cost?

The class costs are based on rates charged by other organizations in the area. Magenta wants to provide quality and affordable classes to the community. At times we can offer a family or sibling for registrations with two or more paying household members registered in the same class (please inquire about this ahead of registration to set-up discount).

Are There Any Fees for Cancellation?
There is a $25 processing fee for any cancellations. No refunds will be made after the third week of class. Classes dropped within the first 3 weeks are pro-rated and then refunded.

Do I Have to Take A Class to Be in A Show?

No! Although it is always helpful to invest in yourself to gain the skills you need to perform to your highest potential on the stage.
